Basic terms for using the service

1. Service Overview
MedixShield provides workflow tools for caring for foreign patients in Korea, along with patient-facing self-service tools. Features include hospital search, intake summary, consultation support, visit summary, prescription and medical document translation, medication label help, and insurance support tools.
2. Medical Notice
MedixShield is not a medical provider.
Translations, summaries, and support content in the service are reference tools only. Diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment decisions, and urgency judgments must come from qualified medical professionals.
- We do not provide diagnoses, treatment plans, or emergency triage.
- AI processing may contain errors and should be reviewed by medical staff.
- We are not responsible for medical decisions made solely from service output.
3. Payments and Passes
Paid features may require a pass or feature-specific payment. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record, including billing, taxes, and payment transaction records.
- Passes activate immediately after successful payment.
- Pass duration starts from the purchase time.
- Refunds follow our refund policy and the payment processor review process.
4. Temporary On-Device Storage
Intake Summary and Visit Summary stay only in the current tab by default. They are saved on the device for up to 24 hours only when the user explicitly chooses that option, and those drafts are not synced to our server.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws.
- Do not reverse engineer, hack, or intentionally disrupt the service.
- Do not repeatedly upload materials unrelated to legitimate medical or support use.
- Do not resell or commercially exploit the service or its outputs without permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedixShield is provided as-is. Our liability is limited for indirect losses arising from translation errors, service interruptions, third-party processor failures, or how users interpret or act on the results.
