How we review refund requests for pass purchases
Effective Date: 2026-04-12
1. Payment Processing
Payments for MedixShield are processed by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record. Billing, tax calculation, card authorization, and transaction records are handled through Lemon Squeezy.
2. Refund Review Criteria
You may request a refund review in cases such as:
- You request a refund review within 24 hours of purchase
- You have not meaningfully used the paid features during that period
- A service-side technical issue prevented you from using the purchased feature
A refund may be declined in cases such as:
- More than 24 hours have passed since purchase
- You have already used paid features such as consultation, document translation, or card generation
- The issue is limited to the user device, network, or input materials rather than the service itself
3. How to Request a Refund Review
If you believe a refund should be reviewed, please contact support with your account email, purchase date, and a brief explanation of what happened.
4. Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy. Depending on the card issuer or payment method, it may take 5 to 10 business days.
